Synopsis:  This episode deals with the beginning of the war; the establishment of two-front war; the involvement of multiple countries on both sides of the battle and the development of new weapons that were utilized for the war. 

EPISODE Three:  THE TAXIS OF THE MARNET

Synopsis:  This episode covers the recruitment and deployment of troops on both side of the clash; the problems faced by the soldiers; the slow pace of the fighting and the establishment of trench warfare.

EPISODE Four:  A WAR OF CHEMICALS AND ENGINEERING

Synopsis:  This episode discusses how the war dictated the need for new battle strategies and tactics; new weapon technology and new medical practices to deal with the obstacles and situations never previously experienced in warfare by the combatants.  The inplimentation of gas warfare and tanks were some of the results of these circumstances.
